On a beautiful Sunday in mid September members of Dingo CARE and their dingoes met at Windmill Drive on the west end of Lake Wendouree, Ballarat.
We had a wonderful day, enjoying the beautiful Ballarat weather, and walking over six kilometres around the Lake. On our walk we talked to many people about our dingoes, and how important they are to Australian ecosystems. Research shows that they afford protection to small native animals by reducing the impact of cats and foxes.
